Useful Links

Here are some links that may be useful to you…

EA Sports – This is the home of Electronic Arts’ sports division. Without the hard work and dedication of the men and women of EA Sports, we’d be missing out on a lot of fun and quality entertainment! They deserve the first link on the list for turning out new editions of the games we love every single year.

The WiiGA Tour – This is a great online league and community dedicated to helping players of all skill levels enjoy the game together. Beginners can enjoy learning from many of the top players and the pros can always find competitive games with the best. Most importantly, all golfers can sharpen their skills without fear of their opponents disconnecting on them.

The International Wii Golf Club – “We offer a place with competitive play or for those who just want a casual round of golf, in a family friendly environment. We are the best place to make new friends from around the world who share a common interest in Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf for the Wii. Players of all skill levels are welcome and accommodated including those who are still playing Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10.”

The British AM Golf Society – “Like the other clubs we cater for TW11 Wii players of all abilities. A full handicaping system and handicapping competitions creating a level playing field. In addition we also have scratch and other competitions. A small ladies section also exists with Ladies only events. Ladies can also compete in all the above competitions.”

EA Forums – This is Electronic Arts’ official online community for the Wii version of the game. Many of the game’s veterans patrol this forum answering questions and helping newcomers.

Bugs List 2010 – This is a bugs list thread I started for TW10.

Bugs List – This is a link to the list of bugs found in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2009 by glenmcd2 and others.

I’m just learning to play my new Tiger Woods PGA 10 on a Wii. Big jump from my Wii sports. The instruction brochure is minimal and I’m trying to work my way through the basics. My current question: I created two characters and want them to be able to compete, but when I try to do this, the game always directs me to pick a professional player. Is there a way I can just play my two created players and bypass the programmed professional players? Thank for your help.

Are you talking about playing online? If you are matched up online, simply tap left on the directional pad to use your currently loaded profile character.

Is the list of bugs current for TW10, or does it refer to TW09? I see that the reference of ‘still not fixed from TW08′ is used a lot, which makes me think these are 09 bugs. But many of the bugs I’m finding in TW10 are on the list…
Anyway this list is extremely comprehensive, and also the only one I can find on the web. I just want to see what version they are for. Thanks…

Hey Andy, that is a bugs list for TW09, but as you said, many are still present in TW10. If we get a comprehensive list going for TW10, I’ll make sure and post it. For now, I’ll just make sure and identify that list as a TW09 bugs list. Thanks…

When do you think they will have the cheat codes for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10?

  6. NoChinDeluxeon 11 Sep 2009 at 7:25 am link comment

As far as I know there are only two that have been released. You can enter “eltigre” to unlock pretty much everything, and you can enter “itsinthegame” to unlock some Nike TW gear and some other stuff.

    Hey there,
Your website is greta; but I need the same type of help using a PS2. My sons and I are new to video games and our Used copy of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06 didn’t come with a book. So we really don’t even know how to swing! Can you help with a website for PS2 to help us out?
    Thanks a lot.

Hey Chris. I honestly have only played TW on the Playstation 2 once, and it actually may have been ’06, but I don’t have that much experience with the game. You should be able to select your club and stuff with buttons, but then to take your swing, you actually move the control stick back, and then forward. That’s about all I know!

You will most likely get some better answers by visiting the Tiger Woods PGA Tour Forum. You can post your questions there, and you’ll most likely get some helpful answers or someone will point you to a place where you can find some answers. Here’s the link:

I’m actually a moderator there, so if you try that out and still need help, I’ll talk to some of the guys there I know who play the game on Xbox and Playstation…

    Hi,

I discovered your site yesterday and it’s GREAT. Especially for the Club Tuning. I just purchased TW10 3 weeks ago and I’m addicted. I’m mostly French but getting around pretty good on the TW10 in English.

Here is a bug: My ball falls on the fairway but stops close to the rough. It shows that it’s in the fairway but the crowd goes “Hoooooo” (like when you fall in the rough or water). I played it like I was on the fairway but fall way short of the green. It was really in the rough. It happened to me twice. So listen to the crowd when playing

    Hi,

I just got TW10 for Wii. I thought there would be a manual explaining how to play the game in some detail – on PC games it’s usually a pdf on the disk or available at the game’s website. But I haven’t been able to find anything giving detailed instructions on TW10. Is there a link to a manual somewhere, or hasn’t EA made a manual for this game? If not, how does EA expect complete novices to know what to do with the game? Very frustrating.

Hey Phil, I’m assuming you’re jozubiso on the EA Forums. I’ve answered some of your questions there, and I’m sure other players will jump in as well. You can always email me with questions as well at nochindeluxe@tigerwoodspgatour.com

Here’s the link to your thread so you can check out some of my answers to your questions:

This is a great site that offers much more than the manual. Maybe I’ve missed it, but as a newcomer to the game and to golf in general, I’m struggling with the differences between the various club types. can you offer some explanation on how each club is affected by wind and how much loft is generated by say a wedge versus an iron? What is meant by a punch, full, or flop? I’d like to go into my shots with more confidence than working with distance alone. Thanks.

Hey Marsay, since I wanted to give you a more detailed response, I thought it would be a little much to post here in the comments section. So I just went ahead and emailed you at the address you entered when you left the comment above. Let me know if that helps you at all!

hey NC notice your promoting the USA TW11 sites but havn’t included THE BAGS. British AM GOLF SOCIETY for the Wii. Its the only league that has a fully functioning Handicap system so really is for everybody whatever their level and the only club to run Ladies only tournaments

Hey Jim, I’d be glad to add it to the list if someone gets me the info. For instance, the IWGC requested to be added to the list and sent me a write-up, etc.
